Two of SpectraCell’s most popular tests, their micronutrient test and their comprehensive cardiovascular test, are now available through Village Green at special rates for a limited time. If you have health insurance, the micronutrient test will be $88 (originally $170) and the cardiovascular test will be $30 (originally $80). Because both of these tests require a blood draw, we will be providing a phlebotomist onsite, free of charge, on Fridays from 10-1 pm (with 24-hour notice – see below). If you are interested in this testing but do not live locally in our area, we can ship the test kits to you and provide you with blood draw sites.

Millions of Americans suffer from pain, making it one of the primary reasons people seek medical attention. The conventional approach to pain management often involves medications that carry many side effects and risks, such as GI upset, addiction, and impaired physical and mental functioning. Fortunately, there are natural options that can be very effective and have little to no adverse effects.
The foods you eat have the ability to trigger either pro-inflammatory chemicals or anti-inflammatory chemicals. Pro-inflammatory foods increase pain, swelling, and cellular damage. An increase in inflammatory chemicals has been associated with most chronic diseases including arthritis, heart disease, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, and various cancers. Dr. Keri Marshall is a licensed naturopathic doctor who specializes in pediatrics, women’s medicine and chronic disease management. Dr. Marshall has published several scientific papers, magazine articles, has written a book on proteins and amino acids, and appears regularly in the media including radio shows, ABC’s “A View from the Bay,” PBS’s “Healing Quest”and NPR. Dr. Marshall has served as a scientific adviser to Citizens for Health, as a nutrition expert in her local public school district, and on a national level for the Alliance for a Healthier Generation. She also serves on several advisory boards for peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Marshall is currently the Chief Medical Officer for Nordic Naturals.
Dr. Marshall received her Naturopathic Medical degree from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, OR, her Masters in Epidemiology from SUNY at Buffalo, and her BS from the George Washington University.
